I am reading an educational text on research methods because i must by the 19th be familiar with all that last semester's professor could not or would not convey within the course of his madness. Shopgirl, an excellent novella, written by the well-known fascist and polygamist Steve Martin has me reeling. I had no idea that show business people could be that literate. His vocabulary is quite stunning and erogenous. I don't ordinarily service men, but if Steve spake the words my thesaurus stumbles over...
